The Abuja National Music Competition brings back to the forefront of Nigerian culture the authenticity of genuine music by showcasing unique music performers in Elementary and Secondary schools.
The theme "Take the Stage" illustrates that healthy competition fosters creativity. Participants learn new pieces, receive expert advice, gain recognition, and receive prizes.

Competition Categories
Open to Primary/Elementary and Secondary/Senior Schools.
Category A: Groups
Application Fee: N30,000
- Choral: 8 - 20 Vocalists.
- Ensemble: 6 - 15 Instrumentalists (Piano, Violin, Cello, Sax, Trumpet, etc).
- Performance Max: 5 Minutes
Category B: Solo
Application Fee: N20,000
- Divisions: Elementary/Junior & Secondary/Senior.
- Instruments: Piano, Violin, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Saxophone, Trumpet.
- Performance Max: 3 Minutes

Deadline: May 15, 2024 by 6:00 PM CAT. No late entries.

Requirements: Registration form, Birth Certificate, 2 High-Res Photos.
Audition: Applicants notified by May 20, 2024 if accepted for screening.
* Contestants must perform from memory.
* Professional commitments during competition dates are not allowed.
* Decisions of the judges are final.
Prizes & Awards
Certificates of Participation for all. Winners published on the website for one year. Prizes awarded at the end of each competition day.
